Iván A. Ramos is an assistant professor in the Department of Theatre Arts & Performance Studies at Brown University. He is the author of Sonic Negations: Unbelonging Subjects, Inauthentic Objects, and Sound between Mexico and the United States, forthcoming from New York University Press.
