Author Biographies

Jenn Cole, Trent University

Jenn Cole is mixed ancestry Algonquin Anishinaabe kwe from Kiji Sibi watershed territory. She is assistant professor in Indigenous performance and gender at Trent University, artistic director for Nozhem First Peoples Performance Space, and editor for Canadian Theatre Review Views and Reviews. She is a queer neurodivergent mother living in Michi Saggig Anishinaabe territory. 

Melissa Poll, Kansas State University

Melissa Poll is an instructor and settler scholar in the Departments of Social Transformation and English at Kansas State University. Her research on feminism, intersectionality, and Indigenous/settler collaborations has been published in Body, Space & Technology, Contemporary Theatre ReviewTheatre Research in Canada, and Performance Matters. Melissa is the author of Robert Lepage’s Scenographic Dramaturgy: The Aesthetic Signature at Work (Palgrave Macmillan, 2018)Since 2019she has worked as the equity and inclusion dramaturge for the Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival.
