Abstract

In this experimental audiovisual work, &/_[ investigates transgender POC identity via customized software. Generative electronic noise, time-stretching algorithms, and real-time text fragments weave together in a performance-like document.

&/_[ is a human mindbody. They slowly morphy while staying in the same place. They are perhaps best understood through textural sounds that are not quite aligned with a strict rhythmic grid.
